Innovation Through Awesomeness
The Lake Oswego Robotics team serves two high schools, providing an opportunity for all high school students in our district to learn about engineering.
We continue to make improvements to our robotics lab through the generous support and donations by foundations, local businesses and team families.
We reuse robotic parts and often find other materials to repurpose for use in our robot. Last season, the team found a treadmill belt from an old exercise machine. This belt was used to create a conveyor belt to lift a basketball off the ground, feed it into a turret and shoot a hoop.
The spirit of awesomeness encourages team members to think outside of the box and come up with real-world solutions.
