The Lake Monster drive team was featured in the Oregonian in a photo essay article on the Oregon Regionals. This is an amazing view into the excitement the students experience in the heart of the action on the field. We are so proud of you, Stevie, Ankit, Kristin and Julia (who was not included in the photo because she was loading Frisbees into the robot).

The team moved on to the quarterfinals, choosing the Scalawags FRC 1359 and the Stormbots FRC 2811 teams to be a part of a 6th seed alliance. The alliance was eliminated in the 3rd round of the quarterfinals. This is a personal team best for the Lake Monsters in making it to the Top 8. We are so proud of you Lake Monsters!
At the end of the first day of FRC competition at the Oregon Regionals, Lake Monsters are sitting in 8th place out of 59 teams. It's been an exciting day, and we ended it with what we do best: eating pizza and strategizing our next day. You are awesome Lake Monsters!
In Match 21, all three robots on the Red Alliance did 10-point climbs on the pyramid. Red takes the match 81-61. Go Lake Monsters, FRC 4125 and FRC 955!
Awesome job so far at the Oregon Regionals! In Match 14, Lake Monsters and the Blue Alliance won (Red 9 to 27 Blue). Kudos to teams 4662 and 2550 for your amazing driving and shooting!
The spirit of FIRST competition -- building awesome robots, making good friends, collecting as many pins as you can -- priceless.
